Carrot Potato Soup

A slightly sweet but savory soup.  Cheap, quick and filling.  Great for after work on a cold day.


4 carrots, peeled and roughly chopped
1 potato, peeled and quartered
1/4 cup of milk
1 onion chopped
2 cups of water
1/2 tsp. of cumin
salt and pepper
*Optional Chicken Bouillon

Methods: Sauté onions until soft, add the water, bouillon, carrots, potato and cumin.  Bring to boil, then lower to simmer.  Simmer until vegetables are soft. With an immersion blender, blend the soup, simmer on low, add the milk and salt and pepper to taste.
